by Tony Chung on February 25th, 2007

It’s been awhile since the last update! Thanks to every one who has checked out Talkmatic and spread the word about the site. Mad thanks to John Chow for blogging about his chat with us last week. We really appreciate the link love John! We’ve been getting a relatively high amount of traffic considering we are a brand new site.. and that’s awesome!

So what’s next? Well, we have another chat almost ready to go. This time, it’s with super crazy awesome blogger and former Microsoft superman Robert Scoble! I’ll be uploading this one in the coming days so stay tuned.

As you may know, this site is new and growing every day. We want to spread the word. So here’s the game plan:

We’re gonna set up a section on the site for all you awesome folks who dig Talkmatic and have blogged about us, whether it’s a simple mention or better yet - a blogroll Talkmatic link. Let us know in the comments section if you link to us and we will link right back to ya!

Cheers!

I had the pleasure to chat with internet business guru John Chow last week. In this episode, John discusses his popular and influential blog at johnchow.com. He also discusses his pastimes: fine dining, blogging, and picking fights in China. :)

Some juicy points:

John Chow

Basics: John Chow started TheTechZone.com back in the early days of the Internet. It has since become one of the most popular tech websites on the internet focusing on computer hardware. One of the most discussed writers in the blogosphere, John blogs daily about tips and strategies of all sorts for his readers at John Chow dot com.

by Tony Chung on February 9th, 2007

I headed to downtown Mountain View last week to chat with Seth Sternberg about his baby, Meebo.com. Did you know that Seth flies planes? =) Here it is in its entirety. My chat with Seth Sternberg, co-founder of Meebo.

Some topics we discussed:

meebo

Basics: Seth founded Meebo with Elaine and Sandy. Meebo is an instant messaging service in the web browser. It allows you to use AIM, MSN Messenger, GTalk, and other chat services without downloading anything. Seth has a political science degree from Yale and came to Silicon Valley to get his MBA at Stanford.

I apologize in advance for the sound FX (cell phone and iPod battery sounds). I’ll fix these for the upcoming episodes.
